A day at the museum, a drink at Floyd’s local “The Bridge”(the cutest bottles of tonic to go with the Gin!) followed by a curry!

Probably the best so far and at a ‘chain’ store with a sympathetic barista who tried hard to make a flat white to my specifications!

Roseanne’s amazing bakeries specialise in artisan breads including sourdough, spelt and turkish style flatbread which is simply the best I have ever eaten! There are also delicious cream laming tons, fruit tarts, banoffee pies, the most delicious sausage rolls with the pork and caramelised onion my favourite. The coffee is not too bad either!! P.S the flatbread sandwiches are to die for with the salt beef and sauerkraut tantalising the tastebuds.

Floyd caught the train from London to arrive in time for a family dinner of roast chicken expertly cooked by Roseanne. We were all excited to see him and Ted was happy to have him to play games with.

After a smooth and fast tracked path through immigration and baggage collection Bob from Crosswinds transferred me safely to Roseanne’s beautiful home at Herschell Road to a warm welcome and my gorgeous attic room complete with Laura Ashley quilt and Daffodils. Ted has grown and matured and Mabel is now walking and trying to talk and just as cute as ever. It was great to catch up with Roseanne..so much to talk about. Did manage to catch Glyn in between Birdwood Bakery daily management!

Actually no photos, just dinner before hand!
