Took myself off to the pub and had a glass of Pinot Gris soaking up the atmosphere. It is a dark, cosy pub with a great fire and locals and visitors were there. Had a great view from my window seat! Most pubs seem to be dog friendly and this one had loads..a red setter, two terriers, a jack russell, a King Charles Cavalier, a wiry looking thing and ‘alfie’ who posed for a photo.
