Dinner at La Chiusa…

Hired a nice fellow to taxi us out to Montefollonico for dinner at La Chiusa. The sun was starting to go down so the tuscan countryside was bathed in golden sunlight and shadows which was just beautiful. It was picture perfect as we sat in the garden overlooking the countryside and enjoyed dinner…Panzanella ( a rustic, breadcrumb salad), Pea soup (which is the best I have ever had) and handmade Pici (pasta) with the chef Dania’s special sauce. A truly memorable evening with Carol and Jen!ImageImageImageImage

Awww – you got to sit outside!! That food looks spectacular – again! But Dania didn’t sign the plate this time 😉 I’m glad that you finally got to have the Panzanella though.

Yes! We were the only people with 2 waiters and Dania wasn’t cooking but did come over for a chat when she saw us from the garden..your friend was not there either!!! Have found that the bar near San francesco (the one near the car park and view) is excellent and one of the staff is in love with Jen!! Hope you are going well sorting through your mum’s place.
