Salt Marsh Lamb….

Harrisons the Butcher in Leigh on Sea is a good old fashioned meat shop and sells lamb fed on the salt marsh grasses around Maldon (yes..where Maldon salt comes from) in the local area. I bought some for dinner and along with this showcase of local cuisine is the famous Birdwood Bakery sourdough which we have fresh everyday. Mabel is very excited!ImageImage

We actually had a late breakfast, admired the stunning orchids and then got the tube straight to Regent Street for some shopping at Liberty of London, Molton Brown and Selfridges where we had fun in the Cath Kidston store.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Sunday in Greenwich with the Strong family…

This line divides the world into the eastern and western hemispheres.Greenwich Mean Time or GMT is measured from here. Roast beef lunch at the Spanish Galleon Pub.
